Peloton cancellation guide
How to Cancel a Peloton Membership
Peloton cancels its All-Access Membership and its App Membership in different places. The first step is working out which one you have.
Quick answer
- For the All-Access Membership, Peloton says to open your membership page, click Manage next to the subscription, then Pause or cancel.
- Peloton states that any change to an App Membership, including cancellation, must be actioned through the platform used to first purchase it.
- For a break shorter than three months, Peloton recommends pausing rather than cancelling.
Before you cancel
- Identify which membership you have. Peloton describes All-Access as the membership required to access content on a Peloton Bike, Bike+, Tread, Tread+, or Row.
- Peloton points to the membership page in your account to confirm the membership details.
- Peloton offers pausing for a break under three months, and recommends cancelling and reactivating later if the break will be longer.
Billing errors: 60 days
Peloton states that if you believe you were billed in error for a membership, you should notify Member Support within 60 days of the billing date.

Choose Pause or cancel

Access after cancelling
Peloton states you continue to have access to its content through the end of the current membership period.
App Membership: cancel where you bought it
Peloton states that any App Membership billing change, including cancellation, must be actioned through the platform of first purchase.
- Bought directly from Peloton (first-party)
- Peloton classifies an App Membership purchased directly from Peloton as first-party and directs you to its own cancellation instructions.
- Bought through a third party
- Peloton lists the third-party platforms as iOS, AppleTV, Android, AndroidTV, Amazon, and Roku, noting Roku is not available in Germany or Australia.
An App Membership billed by a third-party platform cannot be ended from your Peloton account — it has to be cancelled in that platform's own subscription settings.
Billing cycle and charges
- Peloton states All-Access Memberships recur monthly until they are cancelled or otherwise deactivated.
- Peloton says you are not billed for the All-Access Membership until you receive and activate it on your Peloton touchscreen.
- App Memberships recur monthly or annually depending on the plan, and are billed on purchase or after any free-trial period ends.
After you cancel
- Check the membership page in your account for the updated status.
- If an App Membership was billed by a third-party platform, confirm it is ended in that platform's subscription list as well.
- If you paused instead of cancelling, the membership resumes on its own — check again if that was not the intent.
