What we collect right now

There are no accounts, no login, no newsletter, no contact form, and no advertising. One thing is stored: an anonymous survey on guide pages that asks whether a cancellation worked and how difficult it felt. Nothing in it identifies you.

• There are no user accounts and no way to create one.
• The only form that sends anything is the cancellation survey on guide pages, described in full below. Everything else on the site is read-only.
• There is no advertising, no ad network, and no third-party tracking script.
• There is no analytics script in your browser. We do not use cookies to identify you.

What gets processed to keep this working

We cannot claim that no personal data is ever processed, because that would be untrue. Serving a page means our hosting provider handles the request your browser makes, and that request carries your IP address. This happens before any of our code runs.

• Our hosting provider may record request metadata, including IP addresses, in its own operational logs for security and reliability.
• When you submit the survey, we briefly derive a short non-reversible value from your address to limit how many submissions can arrive in one minute. It is held in memory, never written to the database, and disappears within about a minute.
• We do not build a profile, and we do not combine any of this with anything else.

Search Console

We use Google Search Console to see which search queries bring people here. It reports aggregate numbers — queries, impressions, clicks — and never identifies individual visitors to us.

The cancellation survey

When you reach the end of a guide you can tell us whether the cancellation worked, how hard it felt, and where you got stuck. It is optional and takes one screen. Here is exactly what it does and does not record.

• No name, email, phone number, order number, card number, or account identifier — none of these are asked for, and there is no column to put them in.
• No IP address column and no user-agent column exist in the table. Your answer is not stored alongside your address.
• The answers exist to catch the moment a service quietly changes its cancellation steps, so we know which guide to re-read. That is the whole purpose.
• Individual answers are never published. Only aggregate figures, and only once enough responses exist to mean anything. Until then a service shows "Insufficient data".
• There is no free-text box. It was designed and then removed before anything was ever stored, because a text box invites people to type an email address or an order number, and we would rather not hold that at all.

Your choices

Survey answers are anonymous by design, which means we have no way to find yours in order to show it to you or delete it — there is no identifier connecting it to you. If you would rather not take part, skip the survey; nothing else on the site collects anything.

Children

This site is written for adults managing their own subscriptions. We do not knowingly collect anything from children, and there is currently nothing to collect.
