This page describes what actually happens on this site today. It is not a template, and it does not claim more than we can back up. When we change what we collect, we change this page in the same release.
What we collect right now
Nothing you submit is stored. QuitMySub has no accounts, no login, no newsletter, no contact form, and no advertising. The only way to reach us is the email address on our advertising page, and that is ordinary email.
- There are no user accounts and no way to create one.
- No form on this site sends data anywhere. The cancellation experience survey you may see on a guide page is not connected to any storage — it is display-only while we finish designing it.
- There is no advertising, no ad network, and no third-party tracking script.
- There is no analytics script in your browser. We do not use cookies to identify you.
What our hosting provider processes
We cannot claim that no personal data is ever processed, because that would be untrue. Serving a website means our hosting provider handles the network requests your browser makes, and those requests carry your IP address. This is how the internet works, and it happens before any of our code runs.
- Our hosting provider may record request metadata, including IP addresses, in its own operational logs for security and reliability.
- Our own application code does not read that metadata, and there is no database column for it.
- We do not use it to build a profile, and we do not combine it with anything else.
Search Console
We use Google Search Console to see which search queries bring people here. It reports aggregate numbers — queries, impressions, clicks — and never identifies individual visitors to us.
What we plan to collect later
We are building an anonymous survey that asks whether a cancellation worked and how difficult it felt. It is not running yet. When it starts, this page will be updated in the same release, and the following limits will apply.
- No name, email, phone number, order number, card number, or account identifier.
- No IP address column and no user-agent column in our database.
- The answers are used to measure how hard services are to cancel, nothing else.
- Individual answers are never published. Only aggregate figures, and only once enough responses exist to be meaningful.
- To stop abuse we will need rate limiting, which involves briefly examining request metadata such as IP address at the moment of submission. We will describe exactly how when we build it.
Your choices
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to look up, export, or delete on request. If that changes, this page will explain how to ask, and we will not wait for you to notice.
Children
This site is written for adults managing their own subscriptions. We do not knowingly collect anything from children, and there is currently nothing to collect.
