Blue Apron cancellation guide
How to Cancel a Blue Apron Subscription
Blue Apron has two separate recurring commitments. Cancelling one leaves the other billing you.
Quick answer
There are two things to cancel
Blue Apron documents Subscribe & Save (recurring deliveries) and Blue Apron+ (the paid membership) as two different things with two separate cancellation flows. If you have both, you have to cancel twice.
- Subscribe & Save: Account → Subscribe & Save → Cancel Plan → confirm. Blue Apron states there is no cancellation fee.
- Blue Apron+: Account → Blue Apron+ → Cancel Membership → confirm. Benefits stay active through the end of the current billing cycle.
- Blue Apron states the Pause feature no longer exists — skipping orders or cancelling and re-enrolling are the documented alternatives.
Before you cancel
- Check whether you have Subscribe & Save only, or Blue Apron+ as well — Blue Apron confirms you can be enrolled in both.
- Find your cut-off time. Blue Apron says it is shown below the delivery date on the Orders page.
- Before the cut-off, a pending charge on your statement is described as an authorization, not the final amount.
- If you only want to miss one delivery, Blue Apron offers skipping instead, with no stated limit on how often.

When you are charged
- Charge timing
- Blue Apron states your payment method is charged for a Subscribe & Save order once the cut-off passes and the order has been processed.
- Where the cut-off is shown
- The cut-off for an order is shown below its delivery date on the Orders page. No fixed clock time is published, so it has to be read from your own account.
- Pending authorization charge
- A pending charge appearing before the cut-off is an authorization and will not reflect the final charge if you make further changes to the order.
- Already-processed orders
- An order already shown as processed or shipped cannot be cancelled.
After you cancel
- Check the status in both the Subscribe & Save and the Blue Apron+ sections — separately.
- Any order already processed will still ship and still be charged.
- Blue Apron+ benefits run to the end of the current billing cycle — note when that is.
